Fenris Player is made by a small independent team in the Netherlands. We built it because the TV player apps we tried were either abandoned, stuffed with ads, or so overloaded with settings that nobody in the family dared touch the remote.
What we care about
Fast on cheap hardware
Plenty of people watch TV on a €35 stick. The app has to start quickly and scroll smoothly there, not only on a flagship phone.
The remote comes first
Every screen is tested with a D-pad before it ships. If you cannot reach a button from the couch, the button is wrong.
Errors that explain themselves
When a stream will not play, the app tells you what happened and what to try. Guessing is our job, not yours.
Paid once, honestly
We sell the app for a single small payment. We do not sell ads, and we do not sell data. That keeps our interests lined up with yours.
What Fenris Player is not
It is not a content service. The app ships empty. It does not include, sell or promote channels, streams or playlists, and we cannot help you find any. You bring a playlist from your own provider or another legal source, and Fenris Player plays it well.
If a provider or website claims to bundle content with Fenris Player, they are not us and we are not affiliated with them.
